Amado Abascal III serves as judge of the 365th Judicial District Court in Maverick County, TX. District Judges preside over felony criminal cases, civil cases involving major amounts in controversy, divorce and family-law matters, and juvenile cases. They are elected to four-year terms.
Notice to Persons Attending Court
Please be advised that individuals who are in vulnerable populations may contact the court involved to identify themselves as a vulnerable individual to receive special accommodations while attending court.
Individuals who are over age 65 and individuals with serious underlying health conditions, such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, and those whose immune systems are compromised such as by chemotherapy for cancer or other conditions requiring such therapy are considered to be vulnerable populations.
