🚨 WEATHER ALERT 🚨

ON BEHALF OF MAVERICK COUNTY DISTRICT CLERK Polo Vielma:

⚠️ ⚠️ This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas:

⚠️ Today And Tonight ⚠️

A mix of light rain, freezing rain, and sleet is forecast to
continue through around 9 am across areas mainly along and south of Highway 90. No ice accumulations are expected, but some icing may develop over elevated surfaces.

Meanwhile over the Hill Country, subfreezing temperatures through 9 am could allow for lingering icy conditions on some roadways, especially over elevated surfaces such as bridges.

Breezy conditions and cold temperatures will result in wind chill indices in the 20s at times this morning across much of South Central Texas.

⚠️ Wednesday through Monday ⚠️

Cold nighttime temperatures will continue into Wednesday morning, possibly leading to new areas of the Coastal Prairies experiencing the first freeze of the fall season.
